Major failures!
I have a very strange problem on my G4 733 (Quicksilver), 640 MB (No PCI-cards or other add-ons)... Once about every week the computer freezes and the beach-ball spinns in the top left corner of the screen for five to ten seconds and then the computer shuts itself down. I allways leave my computer on and it never happends when I´m away so it must be something I do but I cant fugure out what. I´v tryed to determine what programs that could have caused it but since I have many of them open all the time thats hard. However the observation that it seames to happends no matter what kind of work I do makes it look like a system caused error to me.
The spinning beach-ball should be enough proof that its not a kernel panic or something like that right?
Another type of bug that I´v seen a couple of times looks like a more low level originated failure. When this happends the computer writes out console-like text on the screen (white on black). This is written right on top of everything on the screen. The last entry of the console like text is "Waiting fo remote debugger connection". Kernel error?
Nether error leave any entry in the log what so ever...
Anyone got any idea what the heck this is??
