import hotspots into iphone or ipod touch

Does anyone know if it is possible to import wifi hotspots into either the iphone or ipod touch?



I have an excel list of all the local hotspots in my area along with the ssid etc..



I was thinking of simply importing them into my device so that anytime I am in range of one of these hotspots, I can become automatically connected.



Any suggestions?
