Hello helpfull people,

I have currently running Tiger (Mac OS 10.4.11), and I also have Windows XP with Boot Camp.

My question is what will happen to my windows partition when chosing one of those install options:

1. upgrading

2. Archive & Install

3. Clean Install

I will probably chose for archive & install, will my windows partition just remain the way it is?

Thx in advance

Once you've chosen your partition, any installation you do will only affect that. Since Bootcamp is on a separate partition, it won't be affected by any of the options.

It should upgrade your Bootcamp version on OS X. The drivers under Windows probably won't need upgraded if everything is working ok as the hardware hasn't changed but you would just burn the disc with the new Bootcamp and run it under Windows. Newer drivers usually come out to support newer hardware like the Macbook Air.
