The Montevina / Centrino 2 launch has been a pretty low-key event, not least because the chipset is only available with third-party GPUs. That means no new MacBook is possible until the real deal Centrino 2 arrives in August. Any new Mac before then is likely to be a MacBook Pro, not a MacBook. Personally, I don't think we'll see a new MacBook Pro before August at the earliest but boy oh boy would I'd love to be wrong.

well see i really cant afford to buy the macbook pro. however i love the design and i would love to see a macbook with a mix between that style and the air like its predicted to. i just need it sometime before aug 12 when i report for football. hopefully soon

Not true. The oracle would at least be able to tell you what the olive oil looks like. Apple won't even give you that.
