Mac Book shuts down/powers off by itself

Got a Mac Book that will just turn off by itself. any ideas as to why? i've checked the battery terminals & cleaned the contacts. The battery is secured fine with no play... I want to take it in to a genius bar at an apple store, but would like to know what it might be before going in.
