Lobster thermidor aux crevettes with a Mornay sauce garnished with SPAM
As many of you have noticed this board gets hit by new threads containing only dumb advertising and such every day. And the numbers of them seem to climb.
I don't want to blame the moderators for not deleting them, they are sometimes fun to read for all the stupidity in them.
I just want to know, how they are made.
Is it an automatic bot or code, that registers here and starts a new thread, or is it a real person, going from board to board, copying and pasting the same thread all over again?
Who would take the bloody time for this? And why are those ads so utterly dumb, especially the ones involving software, that is written for our "archenemy" Windows? Just because Macs have Intel chips now?
I'm just curious about this, maybe I'm to old to understand such behaviour.

It's a lot cheaper to post these ads than it is to hire a call center to make cold calls.
