FYI: 3G SIM card needed for 3G access in UK on iPhone!
Hello all!
This will likely affect only a handful of users, but in the UK, a 3G SIM card IS required to access 3G networks on O2 (Unlike T-Mobile and Vodafone). I upgraded from a very old SIM and found that I could only receive EDGE at best. To rectify the situation, ring O2 for an free 3G SIM replacement.
Hope this helps someone, was confused for a while as to why I couldn't get 3G even in London :P
