Ringtone from Itunes ended up in wrong place-help!

I downloaded a ringtone from Itunes and it ended up in "music". When I synced to my Iphone the ringtone ended up in Ipod songs, not sounds. I tried to move it from music (in Itunes on my computer) to ringtones but it won't go there. Help, what am I do wrong?

    Go and click "Purchased" music on the left. You should see the song there. Then right click that song and you'll see "Create Ringtone". Click that. Then make your ringtone and it'll automatically show up in your ringtones folder. Then sync your iPhone.
