To remove an album at a time using iTunes with Macs:

1) Pull up album

2) Press and hold either command or shift

3) while clicking on the first track then click on the last track

4) let go

5) Click delete on keyboard

6) Move to Trash

Shazaaam!!! No more deleting one track at a time.

For non-Mac's the procedure is different(and simpler)

Congratulations, you just explained how to select multiple items in a list in any application on a Mac. Convenient, innit?

But it's even easier than you describe... click on the first item you want to select, Shift-click on the last. Everything in between gets selected. Cmd-click lets you add or delete single items from the selection.

Or just click on the name of the album and press delete.
