Hidden iPhone special character feature

I wandered upon this accidentally:



If you touch and hold one of the letters down, the letter expands into a menu with a bunch of different special character choices (i.e. that letter with accents, umlaut, etc.)

    This is not hidden. This feature is described into the iPhone 3G users manual
