alu gen 1 imac - yellow hue in screen bottom right

thought i'd better make a post to get some opinions on this. i recently noticed that a section of my 24" imac (1st gen) screen had a yellowish hue. it's basically in the bottom right corner and is not always viewable but certainly is when a large window is over the area (you can see the difference in the window colours). i started noticing it this week but actually this morning it doesn't appear to be there. i was wondering if it had anything to do with heat (it is summer!) or if it's a known issue. my warranty expires on aug 18th so was wondering if i should get it looked at before then
