What to expect around Christmas time?

Hey guys,



I have the OG iPhone and was thinking about waiting to upgrade until Christmas time. I figured there would be some kind of upgrade or difference made to it by then. I figured at least they would have more colors to choose from or something.



Anyone have any ideas or heard any rumblings?

    The only rumbling I have head about is that there might be a Product (Red) version. But I would guess more that it would be a red iPod Touch.



    Thus far Apple seems like they are going to do yearly upgrades on the iPhones. They might up the pace, but I would not expect any hardware upgrades this year (maybe a memory boost, but I am not going to bet on it). We can be sure that there will be new Mac products, and probably new iPods.

    I am hopeful that a 32gig may be in place by Christmas



    I dunno how realistic that is though

    Right now I don't think it is even possible to make an educated guess as to the evolution of the 3G iPhone until after Sept. when Apple releases the new iPods. I say this because Apple switched to Toshiba memory devices on 3G. This leads me to believe Apple will make massive use of Samsung devices in the new iPods. The possibility exist that all of Samsungs 32GB chips will go into iPods. That means that 64 & 128 GB Touches are possible come Sept.

    My stand has always been that since I have the iPhone I would never get a Touch, but that would be TIGHT! I would get one if they were that big.
