I am about to graduate college and will be going into the web design/programming or database field or a combo. I have been a pc user my whole life but love the macbook pro. with my line of work will an apple still be sufficient? Also the rumors about the line refresh, is it worth waiting till september?

I think it depends. Mac and PC, tho there is some overlap, can be two very different paths. Mac you'd maybe want to concentrate on PHP and Java and PC you'd maybe pick up the Microsoft Visual Studio package.

You can run windows and OSX on a MacBook Pro if that's what you bump for. The best of both worlds, if that's what you'll need

In all honesty, once you start on the Mac road you'll wonder why you didn't switch years ago

After being a PC person for almost 20 years, I made the switch a few weeks ago and I could not be happier.

onto the second part, I can wait 6-8 weeks for the line refresh if thats when it happens if it gets delayed i'll really be in a bind. if it gets delayed will it be that worth it to wait?
