I've got a camcorder that records on 3" mini-DVDs. I'd like to copy these to my Mac, but am running into problems. Previously, I used a PC as a go-between, but that's no longer an option. Does anyone know of a simple solution for reading these smaller DVDs in Apple's slot-loading DVD players?

Thanks in advance.

    You get adapters:

but I wouldn't go that route. It's safer to try and connect the camera to the Mac and transfer that way if you can. This might run into issues a couple of ways. If there's no USB driver and also 10.4 only supports an older version of the UDF filesystem. You need 10.5 to read certain disc formats.

Another option for reading the discs is an external tray loading drive.

This can still have the disc reading issues under 10.4 if they use a certain type of recording.
