I have 2 20inch DVI connection monitors, is there any way to run both of these out of a mbp at once?

You can do it two ways. One way is to add a display with a USB adaptor:

This only supports 1440 x 900 resolution max though.

You can also split your single video output between two displays:

Personally, I'd get one bigger screen that supports 1920 x 1080. Neither of the above options seem worth it to me.

Is there any possibility that whatever mbp update is coming in september will add this capability? It doesn't seem likely but this would be amazing for me.

There is a possibility that Apple will adopt the DisplayPort standard, which allows daisy chaining displays but that won't help with the displays you already have. There's not enough room to put two DVI ports on a laptop.

If Apple adopt DisplayPort, someone may come up with an adaptor to drive multiple DVI displays. Not sure if that would be possible though.
