Technical question...Need help!
I have a bit of a scenario here. I recently bought a LG 32" HDTV and a Denon AVR-888 receiver. I want to hook my Mac Pro through the receiver so I can be in the living room and use the computer when I'm not doing any kind of work. The receiver has any input imaginable: Component, HDMI, RCA, are all there, I am just wondering how I would get the Video and Audio to the receiver through one input. Any help? I know one way to do it would be video to the TV, then audio to the receiver, but then i need two remotes. Anyone think of a way to do it through the receiver?

If the Mac Pro has a DVI-Out, you can use this to hook up a video cable from the Mac to the Receiver.
How is the quality of he picture going to be though with that? Reading text on a website and stuff like that...1080p wouldnt be possible with that cable.
You can use a DVI to HDMI adapter or/and an appropriate cable. They promise to deliver full 1080p, but regarding reading websites on a TV screen, I don't know.
