iPhone Testers Wanted
Hey,
I need a few iPhone or iPod touch owners to see if my iPhone app will install.
So far I had 3 testers and they couldn't install it, and now I have gone over it with Apple and need to try again. I don't have an iPhone/iPod touch myself, so need to plead for volunteers.
If you can take 10-15 minutes to drag a couple of files onto iTunes to install my app, let me know by sending a PM with your Device ID and an email address.
To get the Device ID - Plug in iPhone - go to iTunes, select your device in the ?Devices? section and navigate to the Summary tab. Click on the Serial Number label to reveal the Identifier field and the 40 character UDID.
Copy and send to me. That will let me make a certificate and then configure Xcode to make the build that will run on that device (i.e. yours).
Send your email address so I can send you the app bundle and the ad hoc distribution profile that allows this app to run on that machine.
The app is Jumble Helper, which unscrambles scrambled words.
No mods to your phone are needed. It should be running iPhone OS 2.0 or higher, and you'll need iTunes 7.7 or higher.
