Buying songs from iTunes Music Store without iTunes

I've Googled this to exhaustion. I am looking for a way to buy songs from the iTunes Music Store using a browser instead of iTunes itself. I can't always have access to iTunes so I'm wondering if there is a site that does this.



I know of cloudTunes, which allows you to browse albums online. But you can't buy and download any song from there unless you have iTunes on your computer.



Any ideas?

    This is unlikely to be possible. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see Apple allowing a client other than iTunes to interface with their store. Not only are the DRM issues to worry about, but there is the whole problem with payment (is Apple really going to trust a third-party to access your credit card on your behalf?).
