Airport Extreme and External Hard Drive

What I have:



Windows XP - SP3

Airport Extreme Base Station - v7.3.2

Phillips External Hard Drive



Problem:



My Airport Extreme can see the External Hard Drive, but displays an error "disk needs repair"



Please help!



Some thoughts:

*Will it only work with SP2?

*Do I need to revert my Airport to v 7.3.1?



What do I do? All I want is to be able to network this drive
