Desktop Theater 5.1 DTT 2200 Compatibility

Hey, I got a macbook pro 1 year ago for college, and i also have a cambridge desktop theater 5.1 dtt 2200 surround sound speaker system from my old computer.



Does anyone know how i can hook it up so that all 5 speakers play?



Right now, i can only hook in 1 of the 3 connectors into the headphone jack, and only the center speaker will work.



I probably need new cables to be compatible with my macbook pro, does anyone have any ideas to help me get all the speakers to play?

    I don't think it'll be possible unless the speakers can take a digital or optical signal.
