Hello - I have a MBP about 2 yrs old running Leopard. The other day when I woke it from sleep there was a message telling me to shut down...and that's the last I've seen of my computer.

I've reset the PRAM, the SMC, I can boot into single user mode (but have no idea what to do when I get there), I can NOT boot from a CD by holding down c, and I can NOT enter safe mode.

Does anyone have any suggestions! Thanks
