Broken macbook today - any ideas?

I took my macbook to work today in thinking that I would actually have to use it. i took care of it, set my bag down gently, made sure nobody stepped on it, etc. I ended up not having to use it, go figure. So I am getting home and I took it out to find quite a nice surprise

Anytime I press the following keys down, a strange rattling/vibrating sound comes out of the computer. Basically G H J K T Y U I O 5 6 7 8 9 0 and the f-keys. That zone of the keyboard.

The strange thing is is that the harder I press down, the louder the rattling gets - almost as if a needle is spinning against the bottom when I press down. Anytime I press the macbook casing down in this area, the same rattling occurs, ruling out the possibility that it is in the keys. I can't seem to get a video, but all I can describe it as is something spinning against the bottom of the keys, and the harder I press them, the louder and more intense it gets. This has never happened before - any ideas?

Probably the fan hitting something. If it's under guarantee, bring it in, otherwise open it up and try to find what's wrong.

My guess is that the fan is dislocated.

    Is the computer completely dead?
