I get a white screen quicktime when converting for Apple TV in iTunes
My problem is exactly as the title says.
Has anyone else had trouble when converting a mov for Apple TV within iTunes?
I right click on the mp4 and select "Convert for Apple TV" it then takes half an hour or so to convert the file. Once finished I have a file that is the same length as the original and has all the correct audio, but for the two hours playtime it has nothing but a white screen. I have tried this with three different mp4's now.
Help?

Hi, have you had any luck determining what the problem is? I cann ot help but I am having the same issue using Quictime Pro (not Visual hub). When converting an mp4 to an Apple TV format i get the audio fine and only a white screen for the video. Before converting the mp4 I can watch the movie fine in both Quicktine AND iTunes. Just checking to see what you came up with, if anything. thanks.
No, unfortunately I have had no luck with doing this, and so far no help from either here or the apple.com/support pages.
Basically if someone tried to do what you are doing they couldn't repeat the error.
I have had a few systems in the past right after a fresh install and a full software update have broken quicktime setups...
If you have another machine try the same file on that and do the same thing...
Just a quick thought
Laters...
oh ps, it might be something to do with the source file tho.
