security update

How can I be sure if the 08/02 Security Update installed? Everything seemed to be fine, but an error message popped up at the end of the restart and I'm not sure if it completed the process. Should web sharing and file sharing be turned off prior to the update? Thanks in advance.

    See if the update shows up in your software update.. if it doesn't, I can't guarantee that it did install, but if it does, then I'd suggest reinstalling it.



    And none of the servers need to be shut down...
