I did some searches in the Mac OS X forum to see if I could find any information on how to replace the brushed metal look of new application like Address Book and iChat (in Jaguar) to the Aqua look. Unfortunately I coudln't come up with anything, anyone got any links or info, StarfleetX?

You will need to download an Application called ThemePark (look on VTracker) and open your Jaguar Extras.rsrc in themepark.

    Then edit PXM's # 4430, 4440, 4450, and 4460 to anything you wish.

If you want I have a theme file I can host that does this already but this excercise can get you into themes. Have fun!

You can also **probably** change the applications' .nib files in Interface Builder to disable the brushed aluminum look. I posted an explanation of how to do this with iPhoto some time ago, but haven't tried on iChat or Address Book yet.
