question about Macbook airport...

i've got a Macbook 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (13 inch White) MB061LL/B and i've had it just over two years, i recieved it as a gift, so the applecare protection was not purchased. i have been experiencing serious problems with not being able to connect with any internet. at school, at coffee shops, even at home, where my roommate just got a time capsule 802.11n wireless router.

i was looking on the apple store website and i saw the airport wireless card. http://store.apple.com/us/product/M8...Mg&mco=MTMyNjg

will this work in my Macbook if i get it and have it replaced?

thanks in advance for any and all help.

AS far as I know our MacBook has an Airport card installed.

I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure that the WiFi on the newer notebooks is "soldered" to the MoBo... not a replaceable card. (The card you're eyeing is made for older computers (and the Mac Pro's) where WiFi was optional.)
