Recommendation for new Mac Laptop

I want to buy a new mac laptop. I have budget of USD 2 Grands. It will be used to edit videos and handle pictures. It's not an urgent requirement I can wait couple of months if Apple is launching new version of their laptops. So anyone has idea what new things Apple is trying to implement in their laptops.

Do all macbooks have LED Backlight? I would surely want laptop with backlight. Is touch interface coming any soon?

When is it launching new iPhones?

    Since you are editing video then you should get the MacBook Pro because it has dedicated graphics while the MacBook has integrated graphics. Apple just updated the iPhone a couple months ago so if you want to get one then get it.

    That should be the question that you ask yourself. The reason being is that some think new hardware is coming around the 14th.



    In any event I agree that you will want a MacBook Pro. The other thing that you should do is keep an eye on the return store as the instantly old hardware drops in price as the newly released hardware takes over. The current MBP can certainly handle what you want to do so it won't hurt to buy now if you need to. The reason to hold off however is that there is a suspicion that the coming MBP replacements will have some really nice features. Possibly including some that may optimize video play back.
