Building Preview icons stops file-renaming.
This is a problem I have had for a while, and I was interested if anyone else sees the same thing.
In Finder - graphics and movie files are shown with icons which are mini-thumbnails. Sometimes Finder has to rebuild those icons.
If I try to rename a file, when Finder is rebuilding the icons, Finder repeatedly loses focus while I am typing. This is especially bad with video.
So I am trying to rename a file and halfway through typing, I am no longer typing into the filename field.
Is this OS X doing this. Or is it something like Perian? Which might be used to make the thumbnails?
