Current Mac Hardware
edited January 2014
If I were Apple, I too would want to stop users connecting multiple monitors to Mac Minis, to help them justify the $2000 tradeup to the Pro.
But is there a reliable hack or workaround? Anyone?

The POS gma 950 can't do that and the fake dual monitors set ups are not that good.

One solution is to use a USB adaptor. This actually works and there's a Mac compatible one here:

It doesn't support high resolutions though and there is a great deal of lag. It's only suitable for having something off-screen that doesn't update much.
