scrollwheel acting funny under jaguar

When I use the scrollwheel on my Logitech mouse, instead of scrolling smoothly like it did under 10.1, it instead starts going page by page. Is this a bug or is it a deliberate feature?

You can tell it how many lines, page's or paragraphs you want it to scroll, it's in system pref's.

Yes it is in the mouse pane.

    But it's not clearly indicated.

OSX.2 has scroll acceleration now. If you scroll slowly, it will scroll according to your prefs. If you start to scroll quickly, it will begin jumping pages.

I don't like it either, thank goodness MS Mouse control panel works under 10.2!

Just found out that if you put the scrolling to a minimum in the mouse pane, it scrolls like in X.1.

I think its the accelleration it controls!
