What does the split screen do? I can't seem to type in the 2nd pane. Is it for mutiple CLIs running at the same time (as opposed to opening multiple terminal windows)? How do I use the 2nd pane?

Thanks!

The split in the Terminal is similar to the split used in many word processors. You can type in the bottom half while reading something much farther up in the buffer.

This is a really cool feature! Is this new to Jaguar, or has it been around and I just failed to notice?

This is a new feature to the version of Terminal included with Jaguar.
