Apple made a small oopsy on their website

It's not a major problem but Apple used the iPod Touch to show pictures of the iPhone software update. As you can see in the picture, the iPod Touch is used but in the status bar you see AT&T, 3G, 5 bars of service and over on the right... a bluetooth icon.

I just felt inclined to share.

For such a harper on details you booted that one Ireland. Where's the proximity sensor at the top if those are phones?

Yeah, they just pasted the iPhone Safari screen graphic onto a Touch body graphic. I can't wait to see the court filing by some bozo that tries to claim this led him to believe he could get 3G data on his Touch.

It's not an iPhone. I noticed 3 differences. One, there is no speaker for the ear. Two, the sleep-wake button is on the left side of the device (on the iPhone, it's on the right side when looking at the front). Three, the buttons are black as opposed to silver colored buttons on the iPhone 3G.

Edit: Also, the corners are slightly pointier on the iPod touch than they are on the iPhone 3G.
