Not able to delete some eMail messages

A few days ago I started receiving messages from a particular sourceforge list (Audacity) in which about 1/3 of the messages could not be deleted in the usual Highlight-Delete manner. Personal emails are not affected nor are any other groups messages. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?
