e-mail set up on the i-mac

Hi i will be purchasing a Mac shortly,i have been told it is quite problamatic transfering a current E-Mail account [Virgin} on windows to Apple macintosh, can anyone enlighten me thanks Jim.

    What program on Windows are you using for email?

    Is your email provider POP or IMAP?



    Honestly nowadays it can be quite easy to transfer your mail and contacts to Mac using http://www.littlemachines.com/

    Thanks jim-I am POP so it sounds like i should have no trouble,thats the problem getting old things take me a little longer.thanks again.
