I have many TrueType fonts that I want to use in OS X. Can I ? Is it possible to drop any TT fonts directly in the Root/Library/Fonts folder and use them in apps, like in the old days ?
OS X uses Windows fonts, TrueType, PostScript, and OpenType. It's a slippery slope in my opinion. Classic apps in X can only uses fonts in the (OS 9)System Folder, but I run ATM in Classic in X and that seems to work too.
