USED macbook w/no OS discs?

can an electronics store sell you a macbook if they don't have the installation discs?

it also has CS3 installed but no discs?

    Sure... if they're selling it as a used item "as is" is generally the rule.



    Apple's not gonna care about the OS... every computer from Apple comes with a license for the OS ... you're just gonna have to BUY discs if you ever need to re-install.



    Conventional Wisdom says that Adobe will NOT consider the copy of CS3 to be licensed. Let your conscience be your guide with that one.

    If it's running Leopard in my experience you'll have to actually buy a copy if you want to boot from the disk. It's simply impossible to boot from the disk if you use a backup disk. I'll say that again; "it's impossible".
