That's pretty funny. Back in the PPC G5 days, I asked if people would buy a 2" thick Powerbook G5. Suffice to say, nobody wanted it.

Wot no MIDI?!
Even my old Atari ST had MIDI.
Get with the programme Apple. No wonder they're going down the tubes.

Did I mention it has an anti-gravity emitter that makes it weigh 3lbs?

That much is certain, even if you figured out how to make it 1 cm thick.

I'd be happy to buy that - I'd love a portable workstation. Maybe an 18.6" or 19.4" screen?
Dual graphics cards - can be run in SLI mode.
Dual Harddrives for striped RAID.
Yep, I'd be all over that like a soccer coach and your step-sister.

If I was creating my ideal version of the Macbook Pro I would put all of the ports in the back
instead of the side (except for the headphone jack which I'd leave alone.) I wouldn't need two
gigabit ethernet ports & expresscard slots, one each.
The back would be 1.25 to 1.4 inches that tapers to 0.8 inches in the front (to accommodate
the excess heat.)
It would have a 19" screeen with a 16x9 ratio (similar shape to that new netbook that Sony just
showed at CES.)
Full-size keyboard with two options:
1) On the left side of the keyboard would have the the directional keys along f14, f15, f16, help,
home, & etc. On the right side of the keyboard would have the number pad.
2) Option two would have them swapped.
Quad-core chip & blu-ray burner (which will be compatible with iMovie & iDvd.)
Top of the line GPU.
More options when it comes to storage (Up to 1 terabyte hard drives or 512gig SSDs.)

No FW3200? No buy!
Would be nice to have that many USB ports on my iMac though sometimes.
