iPod Touch launches iPhoto and has a picture ready for import

Every once in a while I connect my 2nd generation iPod Touch to my Mac and both iPhoto and iTunes launch.



Somehow there is a screen capture of my iPod touch ready for import. I have no idea how this happens.



How is this done?

    To take a screenshot of anything on the iPod Touch's screen, you simply press the home button and power button at the same time.



    If the iPod Touch has any photos that have been saved through that method or through downloading in Mobile Safari, it will launch iPhoto to allow you to get them off. Deleting the photo off the iPod (either through importing it into iPhoto or going into the Photos section in the iPod and deleting it from there) will stop iPhoto from opening.
