Next step for DisplayPort

Has apple given any indication about how they will progress with displayPort?



- new 30" with displayport?

- displayport card for MacPro?

- support for audio over DisplayPort?



Right now they don't even sell the multi-headed displayport cable separately, as far as I can tell.

    Haven't heard a peep about a 30". I doubt it'll be LED simply based on the price premium for LED monitors.



    Apple has pretty much hinted that all future Macs will have DisplayPort so I expect the next Mac mini, iMac and Mac Pro



    As for the audio support and daisy chaining capabilities I have not been able to tell if these features can be added later or if first generation DP enabled macs are SoL
