    gee i guess that same market doesn't include apple....better products, through innovation and customer focus. selling a bunch of also ran units doesn't help the bottom line. junking up phones with features that has confusing menu trees offers customer's nothing.

    Samsung, LG and a few other manufacturers don't seem to be having the same problems, in fact they are growing strongly.



    I think Nokia are just making excuses.



    btw LG just overtook Motorola with 100 million handset sales in 2008, to become number three.

    One of the oddest things that Nokia did this year was to kill-off the N96



    They launched the N96 to market - and then, just a few weeks later, pre-announced the N97. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.
