New Router; Painfully Slow Internet
A few days ago my Linksys wireless G router died so I bought a new one. Now my Internet connection is painfully slow. Although my my download speeds are consistently over 1000 kb/s, pages take forever to load. I just read a thread on here, but I couldn't really figure out how to solve my problem using the answer given. Here are the facts:
2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro
Safari 3.2.1
Linksys Wireless Router WRT110 / Firmware v. 1.0.04
My ISP is Verizon and I believe that my IP address is assigned automatically. I don't really understand what the subnet is, but I have some numbers written down. DNS Servers...I'm not really sure what those are either.
Anyone have a solution that won't make my head explode?
