Will 10.2 speed up my computer?

I have a B&W G3 (400MHz, 384MB RAM, 60GB Externam FW HD)

I am running 10.1.5 currently and its not bad but going from the 733 QS G4 to this is pretty sick. Will 10.2...now 10.2.1 increase the speed on the G3 noticably since QuartzE won't be working?

Sorry that i posted this before...or something like it, but i never really got any definate answers, just (probably, maybe...why not, you know)

It will speed it up a bit, (not really much), it will speed up much more if you have an AGP video card (which your machine doesn't).

    I have it on a G3 333 iMac, G4 400 and eMac 800.

There are large differences in the amount it speeds up each.

The most notable on all of them, is the speed that classic will boot. MUCH faster on all. (thats if you are still using classic for anything ...MS Word for me.,, my last hold out)
