Not only is it impossible...but it would also be very dumb of Apple to do. People don't care who introduces a product. Or at least they shouldn't care. They should be more concerned with what's being introduced. So making their customers wait just so Steve Jobs can introduce a product would just be stupid on their part. Not only that, it would put some of their products really, really behind as far as technology goes.

I'd say Apple has the balls to only update the iMac in the next six months... Regardless of Steve's state. Hold the fort, as it were, while watching the economy go nuts (in the not-so-good-way).
Then again, given the way Apple does things, *something* will be updated within the next six months. *Something* "new" will be released within the next six months.
