Sticky Keyboard Problem

Hi all...

I have a bit of a weird problem. I went away for the weekend and left my roommate alone in our room. When I came back today, I discovered some strange milky residue on my expensive new keyboard. It appears to be a sticky white/clear liquid like gelatin and taste salty. My roommate swears he has no idea what happened, but had some people over last night.

I'm afraid if I power on my computer, will it short circuit?? What should I do??

Thanks for any help.

In the olden days, we could stick a keyboard in the dishwasher (no soap!), then let it air dry for 24-48 hours and viola. Good as new.

These fancy new keyboards, i don't know.

Are the keys removable? They almost certainly pop off and on. If so, take off the gooey ones and put them in a plastic container full of soapy water. Let them soak a while and then gently scrub them (scrub too hard, and you'll take the letters off). Air dry and put them back on the keyboard.

    Wow!!!

Wild guess..... its some sort of bodily fluid....

Tell your roommate he needs to control where he aims that thing, use a sock or tissues next time.

Have you ever caught him on adult sites on your computer before??

That would be semen. Someone has whacked off for you and left you some manjuice. Maybe in the future it will be worth something.

OMGGG after further inspection and testing, it probably could be seminary fluids and I insisted he has to replace it, but he's a total cheapskate...

Yeah, i've saw him on some 'adult' sites when I was pretending to be sleepin but he would always go in the bathroom after. I didn't think he'd be so lame and leave the residue on my keyboard!!

I just sniffed and some of it got onto my lips, no wonder it tasted familiar.....

Anyone ever have a similar experience??

A Kleenex (or few, if you're more... uhm... "productive") is less environmentally friendly but neater.
