4 GB RAM chips

Just a quick question... I was overlooking the Mac Pro and 17" MacBook Pro and noticed how expensive RAM upgrades are. So are 4 GB chips fairly new and will they soon go down as with the SSD technology?

    They have fallen already. Think they were $699 last year, now almost half at $379.99

    Thanks very much. The company seems very reputable and I am looking at $750.00 vs. $1,200.00

    I buy from these guys all the time. Good support! Nice company. If you are near Chicago, get the cheapest UPS shipping. 1-2 days MAX.

    Cheers for that kmac. Including international shipping they're still far cheaper than buying or even part-exing the RAM over here. Once my bank balance recovers from buying the MBP I'll definitely be getting an 8GB set.
