I thought 10.6 wont work on core duos

Ive heard many things about snow leopard not working on C2D, knowing i did not have any in the house i still decided to get snow leopard and trued it on My old Core duo macbook and it worked...

    I think the "no Core Duo" rumor stemmed from the rumor that 10.6 would be

    64-bit only which is not going to be the case.

    I guess not but the beta is horrible, kernal panics galore, although it is fast when it doesn't freeze

    Well its a developors beta and im no deveolper, so i couldnt tell ya, i wasnt waiting for leopard then as i didnt follow mac releases as i do know, but safari 4 is nice and everything else worked good just if you ran too many programs that might not be supported at this time would freeze and get a kernal panic.

    But its the latest one and i dont see how snowleopard, will be out soon. who knows.

    Indeed... and I don't think there is a rush for it. Certainly people are interested/curious though not overanxious.
