Please Help Me!!!

in iPod + iTunes + AppleTV edited January 2014
I were installing the 2.2.1 update for my ipod touch 2g, and it suddenly stopped in a unknown error (14) and it told me to restore my iPod.



i tried but the same error comes up every time and i cannot use my iPod anymore because the "connect to iTunes icon" shows on the screen of my iPod.

    Did you use recovery mode or just try to use the restore button in itunes?



    To put the phone in recovery mode, shut it off. Then hold the home and power button.



    Itunes should tell you it has detected an ipod in recovery mode and allow you to restore the system to it.

    This won't make you happy, I find updating my iPod Touch 1g to be problematic. More times than not I end up at an Apple Store receiving help. It's funny, the one time I did not have a problem was when I upgraded from 1.x to 2.x.
