junk mail issues

I have preferences set to exempt messages from junk mail filter if 'Sender of message is in my Address Book'. Yet occasionally I still get an email from someone who is in my address book that goes into junk mail. It's not consistent, but it happens to different people occasionally with nothing that looks like a pattern.

I do have 'Trust junk mail headers' sent by my ISP checked, but the messages that get incorrectly sent to junk aren't labeled as spam in the email headers.

Do other people have this issue or is it just me? Any suggestions?
