Time Capsule Network

My apologies if this has been delved into elsewhere... Search does not seem to be working for me (the page crashes every time) and I need to get my network up and running soon.

MacPro (ethernet only)

MacBook Air

Time Capsule

(AirPort Express on a different wireless network for the Air to connect to the Net)

What I would like to do is connect the MacPro to the Internet using one ethernet port. Using the other port, I want to connect to the Time Capsule and use it as a network drive. I then want a wireless network from the TC to the Air.

Set up the TC with the Air. So far so good.

Connected the TC to the MacPro and read files. So far so good.

Tried accessing the Internet on the MacPro. Error: You are not connected.

If I unplug the TC, the Internet works fine on the MacPro.

What am I doing wrong or am I trying to do the impossible?

Are you sure you've set the option to "extend wireless network"?

I was trying to set up a new network. The problem seems to have been bridging.

Connecting to the Net through the TC gets things working, but it's not exactly the set-up I was hoping for. Oh, well.

I'll get to an Apple Store in the next week or two and ask there.
