question about the 3G Iphone upgrade

hey,



i was wondering about the 3g iphone,

is apple going to release an even newer version of it?



they are selling the 8G and 16G these days, are they going to release an even bigger capacity for the 3g iphone?

is there a 3.5G to be released?

    It looks like there will be some new versions of the Iphone at some point this year..



    June/july would be my guess...



    current 8Gb and 16Gb versions of the 3g iphone are still selling well in the UK so apple i guess are in no rush to change things just yet...

    The iPhone only came in 8 and 16 GB capacities because it can only hold 1 NAND flash chip. The iPod Touch can hold 2 chips, the reason why it currently has a 32GB capacity (2x16 GB flash chips). 32GB Flash chips recently became available so I would imagine Apple would make the 32GB capacity an option.



    Typically around June is when Apple has been updating their phone and iPhone OS. What will be in the new iPhone...we'll just have to wait and see!
